Academic Advising  unit is considered an essential unit  in the credit hours system in the colleges at Najran University. It is also regarded among the quality elements of educational system. Academic advising is a professional service which guides the student to choose the suitable specialization for him/her . It aims to recognize the problems and obstacles that  impede the students  to attain the education. Academic advising also aims to provides assistance and support to the students to elevate their awareness of their academic responsibilities. Advisors assist students in developing an academic and career plan, monitor students in the major, and discuss how a course of study fits a particular academic or career interest.
